Sandy's Christmas party game

This may be the best family or classroom Christmas party game
because it  is a puzzle anyone can do.

It’s a cute Christmas story in which you fill in the blanks with the names of Christmas Carols.   You are given the names of the 20 carols,  all you have to do is put them in the right blanks. It sounds simple yet it's tricky enough to be a challenge.

What's nice is that even if someone knows very few if any Christmas Carols, they can do this puzzle.

 Sandy's Christmas Carol Story

Select a song from the list below and fill in the blanks to complete the story.  If you want to make it really tough fold up the bottom and cover the answer list and do it from memory. Note that in some cases there are several answers that may fit in to any given blank. However, part of the puzzle is to make sure that you use every song title once appropriately.

It’s my wife Sandy’s puzzle more than mine and it’s a bit warmer, cozier, family friendly puzzle than the first 3 are.    The other adult Christmas party games can be done standing up.  This is a more relaxed, sit down and take your time puzzle.

Depending on who the puzzle is for, you can easily make it easier or more difficult by folding up the bottom of the puzzle page to either show or not show the names of the Carols that are used to fill the blanks.

For younger people you may even put a few of the first letters in the blanks to give them a start.

I’ll be glad to send the answers along to you for free if you would please take the time to read these next few words and answer a question for me.

You see I have a project in mind and I just need some feedback to know if I should put the effort in to do it..  All you'll have to do is tell me yes, no, or maybe.

It's your opinion I'd like.   No commitments at all.

Just so you know, I am not selling anything with this, and there is nothing to buy.

You see I have now retired from a 31 year career as a fulltime firefighter for the city of Manitowoc.

One of the things I am considering doing is putting  together a computer CD of the 50 best ways to have good  clean fun.

They wouldn't be only Christmas games although all of these would be on it. They'd be just a lot of different ways to spark fun interactions between folks.

·  It’s puzzles with matchsticks or swizzle sticks for any weddings or any areas where you sit around tables and get tired of trying to make small talk.

· It’s word challenges of sorts for sitting around campfires or fireplaces.

  · It’s games to play at the Thanksgiving table and games to play at a cottage or rainy weekend with friends.  Some do require some props like toothpicks but for many you’ll be able to just keep them in your head.

  ·  It’s about 50 simple ways to have good clean fun.

In fact our experience has been that just the simple game with the fork and the spoon would be well worth the money if laughter and good clean fun have any value.

    * In addition I'd provide short video clips to the neatest gadgets and fun gizmo's I've found over the years.  From Ultra Stomp Rockets to Air Zooka's to Euler's Disks These are things I've found to be well worth their cost.  They are fun, cheap and durable.

In so many get togethers people are forced to make uncomfortable small talk.   I have found that people really enjoy having something to do or to watch while they get aquatinted with the other guests.

The great thing about the computer CD or file is that it would allow both short video clips and the ability to print out games, directions, and other essential info.

These sort of things have probably been my main hobby and I’ve  been collecting puzzles, games and challenges for the last 20 years.

Yes there are many books about puzzles and games.

But directions from a book can leave you wondering just how things are supposed to work.  The concept is to include a short video of each game or puzzle as it is actually being played. It may be available on video cd or as a download to your hard drive.

Some people tell me that everything is already available for free on the net, and to some degree this is true, but.....This is my collection of the best of the best.  I’ve gone through dozens if not hundreds of books and resources over the years and gleaned from each of them the few that are really fun to do.

I'd not only tell you about the games but in many cases I'd show them being played and provide the text backup resources that are helpful to play them.

Doing it really well, would be a huge project.

The question I need you to answer for me is: If I made it up this package of games and puzzles and guaranteed that you’d be well satisfied, would you be interested?  If not, that's fine too, I simply would like to know.

If your answer is yes or maybe I’ll try to save your address and send you an e-mail if or when I complete it.  No commitments obviously.  But if interested, please follow the directions below.

I may also come up with different prices for different versions.  One for HR people, and  for School mentors/ Big Brothers, or church youth groups would cost  about $24.95.

And a bit less involved version for the general public in the $15.00 range.

So if you’ll take the time to send one e-mail to me with your answer I’ll repay the favor by sending you the link to Sandy's story puzzle and it's answer site.  I’ll send it both in the body of the e-mail and as a web-site link so it will be already be  formatted for you.   I will never sell or share or give away your email address.

It will also provide  the answers for the puzzles you’ve already seen.
